Credcrud

1. Credcrud is written, verbal, and kinesthetic actions taken that subtract from your credibility. Like plaque on one’s teeth, credcrud builds up over time and can cause cavities in your credibility.

2. Examples of credcrud include: incorrect or outdated copyright notices on a website, photos that are 20 years out of date, spelling mistakes on websites and social media profiles, too many “ummms” in a speech, etc.

3. Small quantities of credcrud is okay. We are all human. The continual buildup of credcrud across your asynchronous (your web site, social, etc.) and synchronous (deterioration of your credibility in person and on online meetings) presence can cause prospects to avoid reaching out to you.
